Design 1 : Mickey Mouse Syringe

Design 2: Piggy Bank

Design 3 : Phone Case

How I Could Improve

For the child friendly syringe, although this is the creation I am most proud of as I followed most of the original plans for it, there are things I could improve on. Firstly, the aesthetics, although it followed the basic mickey mouse theme, I had also planned to insert more colors in it in another attempt to attract the younger ones to my product. I also could have adjusted the size so the measurements matched one of a syringe and I could have showcased, although it was mentioned, the environmental considerations and safety mechanisms inserted into it.

My second creation was the piggy bank and did not really follow my original plans for it. At first I had planned to give it glasses for more of a unique appearance, however looking at the time and inspecting my skills, I knew I would not be able to create the glasses perfectly without making it look uneven and messy, instead I decided to let the eyes have dollar signs poking out of it. Although that was still a different outlook on how to make it unique, I feel that it would have looked much more professional if it had glasses. I also could have used more of a variety of a colors to attract my audience.

My final creation was my phone case that is my least favorite from all the ones I designed. This is because most of the ideas I had planned for it was not what I ended up doing. The first thing I had planned for it was to give it a different range of colors but I only stuck to a solid black color. Secondly, I had a major difficulty in creating the curves and edges required in the phone case, to the point where in the end I took a shape that already had curves in it and inserted it under my phone case to make it look more realistic. So if I were to use Tinkercad again, I would definitely practice with creating curves as that was the most challenging thing I encountered. Lastly, I had planned for the phone case to have a peace sign symbol but did not end up going through with it as when I attempted, it ended up looking like a bunny which is what I settled for after difficulty in making a peace sign look realistic.

In conclusion, overall I believe I had a good job but there are still many things I could improve on such as using curves more efficiently. using different ways in a bid to make a creation more unique and to insert more colors in my designs and think more about what the target audience would like in a certain thing I design.
